It is no secret that climate change has caused irreversible consequences to our planet, no country was left unaffected by the severe escalation of environmental issues such as air pollution, waste production and so many more threats that are actively compromising the future for a better life.   In recent years, Libya has suffered multiple damages in its environmental landscape and overall infrastructure, the casualties caused by conflict have caused severe increases in air and water pollution levels, in addition; the countrywide instability has resulted in serious violations committed to the wildlife, forest and life below water.  We at Hommer, recognize our duty towards SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) for a brighter future and are actively dedicated to producing and promoting eco-friendly innovative technologies for the wellness of our children and planet.   Earlier this June we led an afforestation campaign as the exclusive sponsor for the “The Libyan Campaign for Afforestation”, this World Environment Day (June 5th) we have committed to planting 5,000 trees across Libya as well as providing these trees with the attention and care needed for an entire year to grow and blossom.   We realize that there are challenges ahead in order to conquer the obstacles of climate change on a wide and local scale but our belief in the power of unity, togetherness and community is unwavering thus we urgently call upon leaders and corporations and above all individuals to join efforts and lead the change in their homes and community now more than ever for a better present and future.
