Coleslow Salad
Ingredients
2 cups of green cabbage
2 large carrots
6 tablespoons of regular mayonnaise, or add more if desired.
6 tablespoons of white sugar.
1 cup of yogurt.
2 teaspoons of salt, or more, if desired.
1 teaspoon of black pepper.
1 tablespoon of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, and if vinegar is not available, lemon juice can be used.
2 large carrots
6 tablespoons of regular mayonnaise, or add more if desired.
6 tablespoons of white sugar.
1 cup of yogurt.
2 teaspoons of salt, or more, if desired.
1 teaspoon of black pepper.
1 tablespoon of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, and if vinegar is not available, lemon juice can be used.
Method
1. Using the chopper, finely chop the cabbage and carrots
2. Add the amount of sugar to the vegetable mixture, and stir well until the sugar mixes with cabbage and carrots
3. Leave the cabbage and carrots for around 1 hour and then remove all water.
4. Mix mayonnaise, yogurt, salt and pepper and vinegar, in a suitable bowl
5. Pour the mayonnaise mixture into the vegetables and stir well, until all ingredients are mixed together.
6. Cover the bowl, and put it in the refrigerator for at least thirty minutes before serving.
2. Add the amount of sugar to the vegetable mixture, and stir well until the sugar mixes with cabbage and carrots
3. Leave the cabbage and carrots for around 1 hour and then remove all water.
4. Mix mayonnaise, yogurt, salt and pepper and vinegar, in a suitable bowl
5. Pour the mayonnaise mixture into the vegetables and stir well, until all ingredients are mixed together.
6. Cover the bowl, and put it in the refrigerator for at least thirty minutes before serving.
